A Sunstrip/Blinder is a bar of several high-power warm lamps aimed at the audience. Each lamp (or cluster) is separately controlled to run chase effects or flash all at once.
Fired together it delivers a strong “blind” glare that marks the music drop. LED versions allow colour changes and high-speed flashing over DMX.
Blinders face the audience, stay dark most of the time and only “slam” bright all at once on the drop to maximise emotion. Paired with strobes and beams they create an intense, driving climax moment.
