LED Par

What is an LED Par?

A static block-shaped floodlight that washes colour over a wide area — a foundational, durable, efficient fixture found in almost every setup.

What is a LED Par?

An LED Par (Parabolic Aluminized Reflector) is a fixed floodlight made of many coloured LED chips (RGB/RGBW/RGBWA+UV) forming one wide beam. It is the most basic, simple and durable colour-wash fixture.

It mixes colour by blending chip intensities, controlled via DMX or run auto/master-slave. Many slim flat-par models are light with good heat dissipation, ideal for dense rigging.

  • A static beam, no movement
  • Lower intensity and reach than a moving fixture
  • Simpler effects than a moving head

Use in a Bar / Club

LED Par on the floor

LED Pars line the stage edge, wash walls, create a synced colour base and act as static accents. Thanks to their low cost, pars are used in large numbers to wash the whole space, paired with moving heads for a movement layer.
