An ultraviolet light that makes white and fluorescent materials “glow” in the dark — the soul of neon/glow parties.
A UV (blacklight) emits long-wave ultraviolet (UV-A) that is nearly invisible, yet makes fluorescent materials (white clothing, neon paint, body paint, glow décor) glow brilliantly in the dark.
It comes as a UV par, UV bar or a moving head with a UV channel. It is DMX-controlled like a normal fixture and works best when the space is dark enough.
UV is used for neon/glow theme nights: guests in white and glow-paint décor light up under it. Paired with colour pars and beams, it switches flexibly between a neon scene and a normal club scene.
